Inspired by the line art scratchboards of Anthony Ravielli, Golden Hands
continues the story of the importance of hands and the many roles they play in our
lives. The lush natural colors of gold and amber represent the precious metals and the natural resources created by the earth. The scarcity of these resources and the
importance they play in our daily lives parallels what is held precious, rare, and scarce in the defining characteristics of the emerging NFT metaverse.

The companion NFT finds its origins in the molten lava fields laying beneath the surface of the earth. There is a sense of pure crude oil flowing throughout the piece and a sense of golden ores being melted down as they take on new forms. Hands play a vital role in all of this as they do when Ben Hogan grips his club.

Each physical piece comes with 1 companion digital original NFT

Combining the physical and the digital, Christopher Obetz unites the physical process of his hand and paintbrush with the creative intellectual process. The repurposing his original art through computer keyboard strokes creates what are now animated digital fine art NFTS.

Like the classical medias of painting and sculpture, today’s NFTs take on a new art form of their own. They are opening a path to the future of art history where the digital arts are now poised to become part of the long running traditions of the Great Masters, including Ben Hogan.

Christopher Obetz expertly employs brushstrokes, skillfully capturing the fluid motion of a golf swing and infusing each artwork with dynamic energy through thoughtfully chosen mixed media materials and high-quality products, resulting in captivating portrayals that celebrate the essence and spirit of golf while radiating vibrancy and vitality.
