For four decades, the Obetz family has loved the game of golf. It has touched their lives in many ways. Christopher, “CR,” through his own personal journey, shares the stories, art and art history of the game.

Starting when his grandfather put Ben Hogan’s and Anthony Ravielli’s, The Five Lessons: Modern Fundamentals of Golf, in his golf bag on the driving range, CR found his own path to apply art and golf instruction as a metaphor for life lessons.

Decades later, CR would rescue the content of golf art history and go on to write four books celebrating the art of game and the legends who played.

Today, as golf’s most acclaimed modern “Pop Golf Artist,” CR transports golf art history from the past to the present. The golf swing becomes his instrument to engage young and old, golfer and golf lover to the “Fundamentals of Life:” having an “impact,” being at “the top” or in“transition” and always having a “follow through.”
